  • 1 medium whole chicken
  • 1 whole lemon, halved
  • 2 handfuls fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 1 big knob butter
  • 1 big bag Maris Piper potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 good glug vegetable oil
  • 4 large carrots, peeled and halved lengthwise
  • 3 large parsnips, peeled and halved lengthwise
  • 1 hefty squeeze honey
  • 1 dollop wholegrain mustard
  • 1 head savoy cabbage, shredded
  • 1 pack pancetta lardons
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
