Welcome to sourbros

These Terms govern your use of sourbros. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using sourbros

Who can use sourbros

• You must be at least 13 years old
• If you're under 18, you need parent or guardian permission
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account

Your account

• Keep your password secure
• Don't share your account with others
• You're responsible for all activity on your account
• Don't create fake accounts or impersonate others

2. Your Content

What you can post

• Photos you took yourself
• Reviews and comments you wrote
• Your own original content

What you CANNOT post

• Photos you found on the internet (unless you own them or have permission)
• Photos from Google Images, Instagram, or other websites
• Professional food photography without permission
• Content that infringes copyright or other rights
• Inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Spam or advertising

You own your content

You keep ownership of photos and content you post. By posting, you give sourbros permission to:

• Display your content in the app
• Use it to improve our AI
• Show it to other users based on your privacy settings

Copyright rules

Only post content you own or have permission to use. If you post someone else's content without permission:

• We'll remove it
• We may suspend your account
• You could be liable for copyright infringement

3. Copyright Complaints

If someone posts your copyrighted content without permission:

Include:

• Your contact information
• Description of your copyrighted work
• URL of the infringing content on sourbros
• Statement that you're the copyright owner or authorized to act

We'll investigate and remove infringing content promptly.

4. Reporting Content

Report inappropriate content by:

• Tapping "..." on any post
• Selecting "Report"
• Choosing the reason

We review all reports within 48 hours.

5. AI and Your Photos

sourbros uses AI to:

• Identify dishes in your photos
• Suggest recipes
• Personalise recommendations

Your photos may be used to train our AI. If you don't want this, don't upload photos to sourbros Dish ID.

6. What We're Not Responsible For

We don't guarantee:

• The service will always work perfectly
• AI dish identification is always correct
• Recipe suggestions are safe for you

Use recipes and food recommendations at your own risk. Always check for allergens and dietary restrictions.

We're not liable for:

• Food allergies or illness from following recommendations
• Content posted by other users
• Problems with your account if you share your password

7. Terminating Your Account

You can delete your account anytime in settings.

We can suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Post infringing or inappropriate content
• Engage in harmful behavior

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
