  • 2 thick slabs firm white fish fillets (like snapper or sea bass), cubed
  • 1 generous handful large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 fat glugs dendê (palm) oil
  • 1 tall glass coconut milk
  • 1 medium onion, sliced into thin rings
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes, sliced into rounds
  • 1 whole yellow bell pepper, sliced into rings
  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed and minced
  • 1 fat squeeze fresh lime juice
  • 1 big bunch fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 1 heavy pinch salt
  • 1 pinch cracked black pepper
  • 2 handfuls toasted cassava flour (farofa) for serving
  • 2 bowls steamed white rice
