  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken stock
  • 2 heaping tbsp miso paste (white or red)
  • 1 swig soy sauce
  • 1 splash sesame oil
  • 2 bundles buckwheat soba noodles or ramen noodles
  • 8 pieces frozen wontons or dumplings
  • 2 heads baby bok choy, halved lengthwise
  • 1 handful sugar snap peas
  • 2 stalks spring onions (scallions), sliced
  • 1 small bunch fresh cilantro
  • 1 pinch black pepper
