  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 handful bacon lardons
  • 1.5 mugs orzo pasta
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, woody ends removed and chopped
  • 1 bowlful frozen peas
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 mugs chicken stock
  • 1 knob butter
  • 1 generous sprinkle grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 splash olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt and cracked black pepper
