I was inspired by the chocolate halva bun at bunhead bakery in Herne Hill! I couldn’t remember exactly what they were like but I used this recipe below for a babka which is similar ! Instead of yeast I used 120g of sourdough starter (I 1.5x the rest of the ingredients btw) which worked nicely but I would add slightly less milk bc the sourdough starter is quite liquidy. I made a sort of tahini ganache for the centre and sprinkled some chocolate on top and they turned out well yay!
