  • 16 individual pork sausages
  • 1 big potful floury potatoes, peeled and halved
  • 1 generous dollop butter
  • 1 swig milk
  • 2 heads sweetheart (Hispi) cabbage
  • 1 glug olive oil
  • 2 medium onions, finely diced
  • 1 thumb-sized knob fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 heaped spoonfuls mild curry powder
  • 1 squeeze tomato puree
  • 2 spoonfuls plain flour
  • 1 jugful chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
